Product description

Chemlube® PGWS is a polyalkylene glycol (PAG)-based gear and bearing oil, part of Ultrachem's PGWS product family used where PAG chemistry's high viscosity index, low traction, and excellent load-carrying capacity are required — notably for worm gear applications where PAGs typically outperform mineral or PAO oils.

Main applications

• Worm gears and other enclosed gear drives where PAG chemistry's high VI and low friction are beneficial
• Heavily loaded bearings

• Not compatible with mineral oil or PAO lubricants without a full system flush

Handling and storage

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and incompatible materials. 5-year shelf life from date of manufacture when stored in an unopened container (typical for this product family).
