The ProMAXX Blind ProSert is a threaded repair insert for damaged or drilled-through 8 mm cylinder-head bolt holes, including holes damaged during broken exhaust manifold bolt removal. Its blind design is intended to support a leak-free cylinder-head thread repair when installed with appropriate thread-locking fluid. The hardened-steel insert has a black-oxide finish for corrosion resistance. The manufacturer offers this insert individually as well as in separate multipack options.
