Product description

Calumet^® 6970 LP Oil Technical White Oil is a high-purity white mineral oil refined from petroleum, composed of saturated paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons. It is a clear, colorless, essentially odorless and tasteless liquid, chemically stable and inert under normal conditions of use.

6970 LP Oil is a technical-grade white mineral oil intended for industrial applications, and also meets applicable FDA indirect food-additive requirements for the uses described below.

Typical applications

Calumet^® 6970 LP Oil is suitable for use in applications including:

• Plastics and elastomers: polystyrene internal lubricants, PVC external lubricants, plastics annealing, catalyst carriers, thermoplastic rubber extender oils
• Miscellaneous: textile lubricants, adhesives, household cleaners and polishes
• Indirect food-contact applications per 21 CFR 178.3620(b)
• General industrial processing

Storage and handling
