Product description

CASSIDA GREASE MD 2 is a high-performance, silicone-based speciality grease specially developed for the lubrication and sealing of taps, valves, and fittings with EPDM seals. Suitable for use with other seal materials normally used in food machinery lubrication systems.

Certified by NSF for ISO 21469 and registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental food contact. Produced according to FUCHS Quality Standards, in facilities where HACCP audit and Good Manufacturing Practice have been implemented.

Main applications

• Taps, flow meters, and fittings used for the handling of water, drinks, and beer
• Seals on autoclaves and sterilisers
• Suitable for continuous operation at temperatures up to 180°C and short-term exposure to temperatures not exceeding 250°C

Handling and storage

Store separately from other lubricants, chemical substances, and foodstuffs, out of direct sunlight or other heat sources. Store between 0°C and +40°C. When stored under these conditions, use within 5 years from date of manufacture. After opening, use within 2 years (or within 5 years of manufacture, whichever comes first).
