Gulf^® Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant 80W-140 is a synthetic, heavy-duty, extreme pressure gear and bearing lubricant designed for use in limited slip and conventional differentials, manual transmissions, and transfer cases of cars, trucks, farm equipment, and construction equipment.

It is formulated using a synthetic base stock with a very high viscosity index and exceptionally low pour point. The high and low temperature performance exceeds conventional SAE 80W-90 and SAE 85W-140 hypoid gear lubricants, offering exceptional protection over a wide range of operating temperatures.

• Limited slip and conventional differentials
• Manual transmissions and transfer cases of cars, trucks, farm equipment, and construction equipment
• Applications requiring all-season, wide-temperature-range gear protection

Meets API GL-5 and MT-1; SAE J2360; former U.S. Military Specification MIL-PRF-2105E.

Storage and handling

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Follow equipment manufacturer's recommendations for performance level and viscosity grade.
