Product description

PLANTOHYD 32 N NA is a specialty hydraulic oil based on renewable, natural substances (vegetable triglycerides) with active ingredients for the improvement of oxidation and ageing stability. Due to their high level of biodegradability, PLANTOHYD N oils are offered as an environmentally acceptable alternative to mineral-based hydraulic oils in systems operating at low and medium loads. The products fulfil and exceed the minimum requirements of ISO 15380, type HETG.

Main applications

• Mobile and stationary hydraulic equipment requiring an ISO VG 32 hydraulic oil, particularly in environmentally sensitive applications

Typical physical characteristics

Performance features

• High polarity of the base oil, combined with a premium additive system, provides excellent lubricating properties
• Rapidly biodegradable (HETG per ISO 15380)
• Recommended tank operating temperature 50°C to 60°C; recommended application range -27°C to +70°C
• Ester-resistant seals and plastics recommended; Viton (FKM) recommended for dynamically stressed seals

Handling and storage

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and incompatible materials. The related PLANTOHYD N 68 grade is confirmed at density 927 kg/m³, flash point >270°C, viscosity 69.8/13.9 mm²/s @ 40°C/100°C, VI 207, pour point -36°C — the 32 N grade's own figures were not located but are expected to be broadly similar in character.
