Product description

PLANTOSYN 32 HVI is an environmentally friendly hydraulic and circulating oil based on synthetic saturated esters. It is rapidly biodegradable (OECD 301 B > 60%) and provides high wear protection, good seal and non-ferrous metal compatibility, and excellent oxidation stability. It fulfils the requirements of HEES hydraulic oils according to ISO 15380 and HVLP according to DIN 51524-3 (except TOST test), and has been awarded the EU Ecolabel.

Main applications

• Mobile and stationary hydraulic systems requiring a rapidly biodegradable HEES hydraulic oil per ISO 15380 (e.g. agriculture and forestry)
• Can be used where unsaturated, synthetic esters have failed

Confirmed grade-specific numeric data was found for the related PLANTOSYN 46 HVI (density 913 kg/m³, flash 280°C, visc40 46 mm²/s, visc100 8.2 mm²/s, VI 150, pour -36°C) and PLANTOSYN 68 HVI (density 916 kg/m³, flash 280°C, visc40 68 mm²/s, visc100 10.6 mm²/s, VI 143, pour -27°C to -30°C) per FUCHS's German product pages, but the 32 HVI grade's own numeric figures were not located.

Handling and storage

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and incompatible materials. Oil sump temperature range typically -30°C to 100°C or higher; observe ISO 15380 changeover guidelines.
