Product description

Shell^® Tonna S2 M 32 oils are specially designed for the lubrication of machine tool slides, tables, and feed mechanisms. They are based on highly refined mineral oils and contain additives to enhance tackiness, anti-wear, and stick-slip characteristics.

Shell^® Tonna S2 M 32 offers excellent separation from water-miscible coolants, good slideway adhesion, and good frictional properties, along with anti-wear protection and corrosion prevention on a wide range of machine tool slideway surfaces.

Main applications

• Machine tool slideways, tables, and feed mechanisms — cast iron and synthetic slideway surfaces
• Machine tool hydraulic and gearbox systems (Shell Tonna S3 M oils are generally preferable for these applications)
• Horizontal slide lubrication (lower viscosity grades such as ISO 32 and 68)

Recommended for Fives Cincinnati P-53 (ISO 32) specification machines.
