Miles® N-Heptane is a high-purity (99% or higher) straight-chain C7 hydrocarbon. It is a consistent, non-polar solvent used for extraction and purification, pharmaceutical processing, chromatography, polymer work, and degreasing.
It also serves as the reference fuel at the low end of the octane rating scale.
